Michael Byrne Manufacturing is now offering the small but powerful H12-35. This newly designed H12 is for small bores in areas where space is restricted. Now driving the auger is a planetary motor drive, designed to take the heaviest of shock loads. The planetary motor drive now produces a max torque of 1,525 Ft-Lbs.  (18,300 In-Lbs.) 

To handle the heavy thrust loads is thrust and radial bearing package, that helps to give the planetary motor drive longer life. A flow control valve tied into the hydraulic circuit gives the operator infinite speeds for every boring condition. Also exclusive to the machine is an automatic push block and quick disconnect track connectors. Casing adapters available for standard casing and electric conduit. 

The frame is made of heavy structural steel and designed box construction, to handle the severest conditions. Two 3” bore cylinders produce 35,000 Lbs. of thrust. The machine is single base totally hydraulic and compact enough to fit in the back of a pickup truck. 

A 40 HP power unit gives the machine the extra power required for tough bores. Power unit can be left at top of trench eliminating noise and fumes in the pit. The hydraulic system is supplied by 18-gpm gear pump. The power unit is self-contained electric start and also can be used for other hydraulic tools and equipment.
