This unit runs at output speeds of over 18,000 RPM.

Hydroelectric generator for use in the State of California.  Byrne Gear designed a speed increaser (14 RPM to 1750 RPM) to drive a generator.  Byrne Gear was the only design able to fit inside the casing and handle the large input load.
